The Connection Between Radio
and Independence Day

This Thursday, July 4th, Americans across the country will celebrate Independence Day. On this day, well over 80% of adults across age groups will celebrate in some way, according to the National Retail Federation.

Celebrations will consist of barbecues, picnics, parades and, of course, watching fireworks.  Fireworks are not just to be seen but also heard.

Audio is an important part of the entire fireworks experience and that’s where radio shines. That may seem odd but an online search of radio listening during 4th of July 2019 will generate results that include local radio station celebrations and live broadcasts of music themed to accompany the fireworks displays. Proof that radio matters.
